Celebrity Apprentice Australia contestents sell robo-advice
Growing footprint of Yellow Brick Road branches offering robo-advice
Revolutionising financial services through easy-to-access solutions
Yellow Brick Road Wealth Management has beat the banks to complete the first major roll out of a robo-advice modelling tool, declaring the pilot of “Guru” a success and launching it on national television.
Guru was introduced on a pilot basis in June, with the intention of disrupting the traditional financial services industry by giving the consumer more control over their financial future.
Since the pilot began, Yellow Brick Road has been rolling out Guru training to its branch network. Already over 50 Yellow Brick Road branches are able to provide Guru sessions.
“Our network has been quick to support the roll out of Guru due to the incredible value it provides their clients. 80 per cent of Australians don’t have a financial plan because they see it as cost prohibitive and confusing. Guru provides a powerful introduction by breaking down those barriers and gives simple solutions without the usual price tag,” Mr Bouris said.
Guru is being launched to the public in true Yellow Brick Road fashion by using a challenge on The Celebrity Apprentice Australia to introduce the tool on a wider scale
The program, which airs on Channel 9 on Wednesday 7 October at 8:40pm, features the remaining celebrity contestants engaging the public at a suburban shopping centre and seeking to sign up them up for a Guru session in a Yellow Brick Road branch. The challenge will be judged by Executive Chairman and Celebrity Apprentice Boss Mark Bouris. “Now with a growing footprint of branches across the country being trained up as Guru Money Coaches, we are ready to push on the accelerator and launch it to the wider market. Yellow Brick Road is a challenger brand and is proud to be at the forefront of robo-advice in Australia. Celebrity Apprentice offers us an excellent platform to show people that there are simple things they can do to create a secure financial future for themselves,” Mr Bouris said.
The initial Guru session is free and facilitated by a Yellow Brick Road Money Coach. It calculates the user’s likelihood of achieving their financial dreams based on their situation today. The user pulls levers to adjust their money flows to test and learn how they could change their financial future. All customers receive a roadmap to take home free-of-charge that captures the user’s full financial situation and the changes required for them to achieve their dreams.
