Yellow Brick Road has announced today the signing of their 50th branch agreement, as the wealth management company continues to bring more competition to the financial services market through its rapidly expanding network.
Yellow Brick Road, which operates branches in New South Wales, Victoria and Queensland, is an active advocate for consumer education and has been instrumental in the fight for competition in the banking sector. The company has experienced steady growth since its inception, and has plans to ramp up expansion in 2011.
“Yellow Brick Road was established with the goal to cement branches into every community, and with 50 licence agreements executed, we’re becoming a force that can’t be ignored,” says Yellow Brick Road Executive Chairman Mark Bouris. “Every day we receive calls from prospective branch principals and we’re issuing a branch agreement practically every week. Our aggressive growth strategy is simple. Financial services need to be accessible in order for consumers to get a better deal, and that’s what Yellow Brick Road will continue to deliver.”
Yellow Brick Road is a comprehensive wealth management company that offers much more than just home loans. The company provides financial planning, superannuation services, accounting and tax, and has just recently entered into the deposits market. The company now offers Yellow Brick Road Term Deposits issued by Gateway Credit Union, which come with a government guarantee for consumers looking to build their investment portfolio. Yellow Brick Road will continue to add new and innovative products to its range of offerings to ensure that consumers have a choice as to how they manage their money
“Australians are savvy, and they recognise that there is more out there than what the banks have to offer,” says Bouris. “That’s why we’re opening branches in the very shopfronts that the banks have abandoned in the past 10 years. We’re taking financial services to the streets and will continue to deliver the quality advice that consumers deserve.”
Yellow Brick Road has immediate plans to expand out of the eastern seaboard and into the rest of the country with the company’s first South Australian branch set to open in April 2011. There are also plans to create specific products and services tailored to niche markets and demographics.
